Great tips from this discussion! Some you may have heard before, some may be new:New criteria were added in Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, notably prioritizing mobile-friendly navigation and form authentication via password manager.PDF Remediation:- Converting PDFs into HTML makes them more navigable and easier for audiences. - Often, recreating PDFs from scratch is easier than remediating older files(my note: web search does not include searching within the contents of a PDF)- Maintaining both an HTML page and a PDF introduces the danger of outdated information in one when a change/update is necessary. (Not sustainable.)Question: Are AI tools like Microsoft Copilot that can aid in identifying accessibility issues?Answer: No. (Though, you can use AI tools like ChatGPT to pull content from a PDF and use it to convert to HTML.)Website assessment tools like DubBot can be used after a site change or update to confirm (many, not all) accessibility issues. DubBot's reports can also be used to convince others of the extent of accessibilityissues. The recent Department of Justice ruling on Accessibility for state and local government websites and reporting can help make the business and financial case for improving accessibility. Good accessibility = good user experienceGood accessibility = improved SEO and mobile experiences

I particularly loved the curb cut metaphor too. Accessibility is a people issue that impacts user experiences for everyone!

I am thrilled to share that I was invited to participate in the McKinsey Asian Leadership Academy's Management Accelerator program which kicks off today! McKinsey offers the program with the aim of increasing the number of Black, Latinx, and Asian leaders in organizations, and I feel honored to be part of this initiative. This program is designed for high-performing mid-career managers who aspire to take the challenging leap into senior leadership. It focuses on building core management and leadership capabilities that are essential for leading successful businesses and teams.I am particularly excited about this program as it aligns with my personal and professional goals as a leader. I am passionate about inspiring and leading my teams towards achieving their goals. I am motivated to introduce new ideas and strategies to improve productivity and efficiency within my organization. Additionally, I hope to learn more about different leadership styles, effective communication techniques, and ways to foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture. I look forward to sharing my journey with you all!#leadership #management #career https://lnkd.in/evWnFF7c

I'm really enjoying using Agenda so far. The functionality that stands out is that it lets you create notes tied to Projects as well as Meetings. So you can better search through your notes cross-referencing a keyword + a meeting date. I've used Notes, Evernote, OneNote, Box Notes and so far I'm really liking this app over the rest.
