Pizza Pasta Casserole Ingredients

  • ITALIAN SAUSAGE – Remove the casings. You can use any variety of Italian sausage you like.
  • ONION – Chop up a small white or yellow onion for a touch of sweetness. You can also use a red onion for a deeper flavor.
  • GARLIC – We found the perfect garlic flavor to be about 2 cloves, but you can add more if desired.
  • SPAGHETTI SAUCE – Use your favorite jarred or homemade spaghetti sauce.
  • TOMATOES – Diced or petite diced tomatoes are fantastic and give the pasta pizza plenty of zesty flavors.
  • SEASONINGS – You’ll need some dried oregano and dried basil. You can use fresh too, but we tend always to have dried on hand.
  • PASTA – We prefer penne, but you can also use macaroni, rigatoni, or ziti instead.
  • PEPPERONI – Grab your favorite brand of pepperoni. It’s so good! And if you aren’t a fan of pepperoni, you can leave it out completely.
  • CHEESE – To get the perfect cheesy flavor, use a combination of mozzarella and parmesan.
