We know you go crazy over cheese. Whether it’s double cheese burst Pizzas or drooling white sauce Pastas , you just can’t resist it . You probably don’t even care which cheese is it , Mozzarella , Parmesan or Cheddar . As long as it’s cheese, you are delighted to savour it one form or the other. It’s calorie free however , to know about differences between these 3 types of cheese .
Mozzarella is a cheese that is not aged for long & hence , it’s softer. It’s is mostly used in pizzas . It’s quite chewy & easily melts in the oven. Made from the milk of cow or water buffalo , it has it’s origins in Itlay.
Parmesan on the other hand is usually aged for 3–8 months , which makes it a bit hard in texture. This is the reason , it’s primarily used in salads & spaghetti . Parmesan is well known for it’s Umami rich taste. Made from cow’s milk , it has it’s origins in Itlay & is granular in nature..
Cheddar cheese has it’s origins in Somerset, England & is aged more than 12–16 months . It is yellowish white in colour & usually crumbly in texture. It’s is a hard , sharp tasting cheese best used in grilled cheese , sandwiches .
