Since we are talking you unusual family scenarios, I wrote this little bit inspired by the idea of Emily being Mothra's and Godzilla's unofficial child.
Charlie and Lucifer had bewildered expressions as they looked up. And up. And up even more.
Charlie had decided to invite Emily in Hell for a nice gathering, and was able to convince her dad to meet her as we'll. She was basically the nicest Angel she had met once she arrived on Heaven, and after Adam's failed extermination she intended to celebrate it alongside Emily.
She was of course enthusiastic, and asked if her parents could come as well. The request took Charlie by surprise, but accepted nonetheless with equal enthusiasm. Emily's parents? She had never seen them in Heaven, so she was quite curious to meet them.
She and her father had waited for Emily and her parents to appear through a portal in front of the Hotel, Charlie all giddy to meet Emily's parents and Lucifer curious to meet the angel her daughter talked about so well.
They didn't expect for the portal that opened in front of them to be so gigantic, but once Emily got out of it and was followed by her... 'parents' they understood why it was so big.
Emily's 'parents' weren't Angels.
In fact, they were something both Charlie and Lucifer had never seen.
They were two creatures, respectively a giant female moth and an enormous male reptile. The moth must have been 15 meters tall, with a segmented insect-like body, with six legs, respectively two long hind legs with two joints and two clawed toes and four forelimbs, two on each side of her body, one large pair and one smaller pair, and then two wings. She had a small head with two large blue eyes, some white fur surrounds them, with some brown-orange fur that covered the body.
The reptile was well 119 meters tall, dark grey scales covering his body, his skin having quite the rough and spiky texture, gills on each side of his neck, his eyes having an ember color, his hands having four fingers that ended with sharp claws, his back having pointy pink dorsal fins that arrived to the tail.
And Emily was standing between them with a relaxed expression, as if it was the most normal thing in the world.
"Hi Charlie!" Emily greeted the princess of Hell with an excited smile "I'm glad to see you again!" her eyes landed on Lucifer "Oh my gosh, you must be her dad! It's pleasure to meet you, Mr Mornigstar, sir!" she said, taking Lucifer's hands to shake them.
"Pleasure... is all mine..." Lucifer said, his eyes still observing the two giant behemoths.
"Erm... Emily..." Charlie called out to the Angel, a nervous smile on her face "Are they...?" she said, pointing to the two creatures.
"Oh, them?" Emily smiled "Yup. They are my parents!" she walked back to them, touching one of the larger forelimbs of the moth "This is my mom. Her name is Mothra.".
Mothra let out a chirp, a sound so gentle that made Charlie and Lucifer almost relax. Almost.
Emily walked to the reptilian creature, her hand touching one of his pillar like legs "And this is my dad, Godzilla.".
No sound from Godzilla, who merely looked down at Charlie and Lucifer with what looked an unamused expression.
Emily looked up at him with a pout "Dad. We talked about this.".
Mothra seemed to echo Emily's words, as she looked up at the reptilian monster while letting out a croon.
A rumble escaped Godzilla's throat, as he let out a snort towards the king and the princess of Hell who unintentionally yelped. That seemed his way to greet new people, apparently.
Emily let out a bashful giggle "Sorry. He never was open to new people. Me and mom took a while to convince him to come.".
"No, no, it's no... problem." Charlie let out a nervous laugh "Dads, am I right?" sh let out another nervous laugh, while Lucifer looked at her with an almost offended expression while Godzilla still looked down at them with an unamused expression.
Emily giggled "I know they are a little... too big, but since you said this gathering would have been out in the open, I thought it would have been a good idea to bring them.".
"No, no, it's fine, it's fine... it's just... how do I put it..." Charlie started saying while scratching the back of her head "You're an Angel, right?".
Emily nodded, a confused expression on her face "I am.".
"And they are your parents." Charlie pointed at Godzilla and Mothra.
"They are." Emily confirmed with another nod.
"But they look... and you look..." Charlie started saying, pointing back and forth between Emily and the two gargantuan creature, Mothra looking at everything with what looked amusem*nt in her face, Godzilla still with a neutral expression (if not a little irritated), while Lucifer let out an awkward cough.
Emily's eyes slightly widened once she understood what Charlie was trying to say, before she giggled "Oh. That's... a very long story." she merely answered with a shrug.
