At Sakura Japanese Steakhouse and Sushi Bar, skilled chefs prepare a variety of sushi and hibachi entrees to accompany traditional Japanese beverages such as beer and sake. It was unfortunate that the teppanyaki section of the restaurant was closed, but this didn't stop customers from ordering their favorite combo meals consisting of chicken, shrimp, and beef. Unlike other teppanyaki restaurants, here the meats were cooked with the sauces already on them rather than being separate.

Everything about this place is just the best. The tables were beautiful, the sashimi was fresh and delicious. The presentation was aesthetically pleasing. The ambiance was peaceful and pleasant, with a very kind and attentive waitress. I will definitely be back.

Was surprised the teppanyaki portion of the restaurant was closed. Ordered the combo chicken, shrimp, and beef anyway as they cooked in the back and bought to the table. At other Teppanyaki restaurants, the sauce is separate from the meats, but in this case, it was not. For me the sauces were overly drenched and the chicken was tough. However, John the waiter was on top of our orders and making sure we were taken care of. I would like to come back once the Teppanyaki portion of the restaurant is open as I am sure the experience would be a more positive experience.

Pretty decent. Very friendly service. Tad pricey for what you get, but depending on what you get not too far above market average.
We've frequented this restaurant for many years. Our last visit, will be the last. Although the food preparation and presentation lived up to what we became so familiar with and appreciated, the gentleness and ambiance was gone. The Hibachi grill was closed - no chef. They used the room as a storage room, which you see as soon as you enter the front door. Not one Japanese server. Our waiter was much more suited to a BBQ joint. Too bad.
